The food here is delicious! We visit this restaurant specifically for its Hong Kong-style cuisine, and they genuinely use real salted fish in their dishes. This flavor takes me back and is something I find myself craving from time to time. It’s incredibly tasty, though it may be an acquired taste for some; while the smell and flavor can be strong, I absolutely love it! For dessert, we can’t get enough of the Hong Kong waffles. They are sweet, crunchy, and perfectly hot – simply delicious! Both kids and adults enjoy them immensely.
This restaurant serves outstanding Hong Kong-style cuisine. The menu is extensive, and the service is both prompt and courteous. As of August 2023, they even offer a delicious dessert complimentary with your meal! The prices are lower than those of similar establishments in the area, and the portions are quite generous. The only downside is the location, which is at the back of the shopping plaza. It may not be the most beautiful setting, but the many positives easily make up for it. Overall, great food at a great price!
This restaurant needs to enhance its food preparation process. I ordered the chicken rice claypot and discovered plastic shreds in my dish, which I suspect came from somewhere during the chicken chopping. The Hainan chicken rice was acceptable, but the chicken was ice cold. The ambiance was quite nice. As for kid-friendliness, the high chair was more comfortable than the typical ones.
While the interior was stylish, it felt out of place with disco lights hanging from the ceiling reminiscent of a nightclub. The restrooms were clean, but the mismatched toilet seat was a sign of poor management. Here are my ratings:

The food is excellent, the flavors are fantastic, and the customer service is exceptional. I visit Tasty Garden in Roland Heights twice a week, even though I live in Orange County. The chicken is one of my favorites. It's a wonderful place to dine!
Staff is always friendly and food is always good! Kids love the fried calamari and wings. One of my favorite Cantonese cafes.
