Tasty Lunch is a nice central downtown Chatham restaurant. The 50's diner atmosphere is a blast to the past, in a good way. The food was okay for the price. My husband and I happened to find our way there when we had a rare moment to ourselves. It was a great lunch date spot. I liked the hashed potatoes as a nice break from french fries like most restaurants serve these days. I don't recommend the milkshake though, mine was barely cold and runny. The place was mostly empty so the the service was fast. Our waitress was friendly. I plan on bringing my whole family in as a fun lunchtime stop.
when I first walked in I noticed a nice clean restaraunt. Nowq for the disappointing part.When I got there there was 2 other tables with people eating which meant I was the only customer who had to order. I ordered breakfast and coffee. After 15 minutes my food still was not ready. At this point I paid for my coffee and left hungry. I have been a cook for over 40 years so maybe you can understand the disappointment
Driving players in southern ontario badminton tournament. I have free time so i look for breaky. What stroke of good luck when i walk into this classic diner. Wood floors. Swivel stools at the counter. Super freindly service with excellent prompt food and inexpensive. Just like going back in time.
My hubby and I had a delicious home made Turkey Dinner with all the trimmings today and finished with a coffee and homemade apple pie. Lori definitely delivered a truly great taste of Christmas. A few new faces and old friends also visit Tasty Lunch today. It's a don't miss location any time.
