Perfect night to eat outside and Tavern has the BEST outdoor space in ALL of downtown Bethlehem! Lots of space and tables, beautiful light, and atmosphere! On top of that, you can't beat the service and food! Our waiter, Dev, couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Drinks and food came out quickly and cooked perfectly! We had mushrooms and the pretzel for appetizers, and then the blank flank, crab cake, and burger for mains. I can't say enough about the blank flank besides YUM!! Flavorful and delicious. My husband loved the burger, and the kids crabcakes were loaded with crab. We will definitely be eating here again!
We've been here before for lunch, and loved it. However, it just didn't work for dinner. I had the shredded chicken thighs and my husband had the steak. They were both good, but felt like lunch time dishes. The hostess was in Jean shorts and a tshirt and was super casual in demeanor as well. Almost like a teenage daughter that you were bothering kind of a vibe. Our waitress, Shannon, was lovely. The place was practically empty as well. So, perhaps we aren't alone in our impression. We won't be back for dinner.
It’s definitely 1770s vibe but the service is great! Scott was our bartender and he was the best! The drinks were so good, the food is ok, I’ve had better at other places but the atmosphere is a good time and the staff is friendly and welcoming! Definitely would go again when it’s warmer to try the courtyard they have!
The food never disappoints at the Sun Inn. We went during trivia night, which was a lot of fun. Unfortunately, there was only one waiter working in the room where the trivia was held. He did a wonderful job considering the number a patrons being served, but we did have to wait a quite awhile to place or order. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The Sun Inn is the best kept secret in town. The building is beautiful and well kept and the food is great. They had a special Valentine's Day menu still available for the weekend after Valentine's Day which was super helpful to those of us who work during the week. They always think of everything!!
Planned a bridal shower here and had a great experience. Service was excellent, especially from Brianna and Scotty. They assisted us several times with the service elevator and assisted us with cutting and serving the cake. We had a great time!
Shannon was an excellent server for a large party that was here for drinks. She went above and beyond for us. Exceptional service we will definitely be back again thanks to her for making everything smooth sailing with such a large party.
This is a must do in Bethlehem! Eat in the same building where George Washington stayed! Awesome unique food that's all home made. Great staff. Cool history of the building. Huge outdoor patio, nice place to chill on a summers evening. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Celebrated a friend's birthday there on Fri 7/5/24. Food and service were first rate. Scottie is wonderful; friendly, knowledgable and charming. Our meals were delicious and it was a lovely experience. We will come back.
