We have been in this place the other day. We made a reservation at 10:00 pm since there was availability at that time. As soon as we got into the restaurant the waitress told us that the kitchen was closed (since they close it at 10:00pm and we had the possibility just to order pizza's or 2/3 dishes. We were very surprise/upset since we had the possibility to reserve our table at that time. After we ordered what we wanted , the waitress told us that everything was ready for us. Great pizzas. Our favourite one is Joaquim de Almeida. We're vegetarian but we order it without the ham. My friends and I were recommended this restaurant and were excited to try it out. We ordered a variety of items including olives, bread, cheese, meats, chorizo, salad, pizza, duck rice vegetables and wine. The pizza was outstanding and the duck rice was delicious but the rest of the food was not our favorite. Our guide, Miguel Vidal, took us off the beaten path to this amazing spot for lunch. We must’ve spent 2 hours here! Our waiter guided us through the menu and offered us local wine unavailable to purchase anywhere else. We even had a special and unplanned Fado performance which left everyone in tears. This was not only a highlight of Sintra, but a highlight of our whole trip.

I made a reservation through The Fork for 3:30pm. We arrived few minutes earlier and the waiter said we should order asap as the kitchen would close in 5min. Isn’t it better to allow reservations until 3pm, instead of pushing clients to order asap? We ordered well done beef ribs, but it was rare.

Vindo de Nova York, esta é uma das MELHORES pizzarias que já comi. Pedi a torta Margarita e a torta Carbonara, ambas não decepcionaram. O proprietário até me deu um pão de alho extra por conta da casa! Lugar super ótimo e recomendo a todos que dêem uma olhada se você estiver na área.
