certainly atypical but the quality of the dishes is not at the height of the prices displayed. You pay for the setting but not for the gastronomy. the staff is pleasant and welcoming but the service is not high flight either. as such do not go for the menu of cocktails more than restricted and especially not for the mojito that is all but. a mojito. no drink proposal at the time of the order, no water glass, no carafe. Anyway, we really pay the reputation of the restaurant I find unfounded. There are other addresses on the duck with a better quality card. in summary, a quality report price not at the appointment. short, disappointed.
Still my favourite restaurant in the world; great setting and experience. Food is simple fish done on the grill with some rice and spiced vegetables on the side (less said about my son's beef stirfry the better! Personally I would avoid anything that isn't fish). Oodles of local rose and a noisette and cognac to round things out. Then head onto the beach and enjoy a tipsy frolic in the waves. Perfection. Stan is the man. Been coming here for 20 years now. Just perfect.
atypical restaurant to discover! but small dish: you must anticipate your coming and coming with species, because no other means of payment is accepted! the setting is beautiful, close to the beach, a preference for dinner to better enjoy the beautiful lights. Incroyable! Le changement de chef fait tout… nous avons l’habitude de venir sur l’île depuis plus de 15ans avec mon mari et sommes des habitués du Taxi… les dernières années ont été difficile mais bravo au nouveau chef qui fait redorer l’image du restaurant grâce à sa cuisine si goûteuse et généreuse! Enfin…!!!!
unlike previous opinions, we spent a great afternoon! We were 11 adults and 5 children, who benefited from the pool. the setting is top, the dishes are good without pretention, the service is very friendly.
