I keep visiting this shop since I discovered Ratan and his tea rather randomly. Being a a bit of a tea snob am skeptic of tea shops in London, and am not easy to please. But after tasting some of his teas and his description of the palette of each, I very quickly realised that he is one of those tea tasters who are rare to find. Am in love with the velvety caramely house blend right now though even the first flush he had given me to taste was fab. If you are into tea and in London, don't even bother trying any other shop. And Ratan is great- now my family and friend circle both know him, and have the highest regards for him!
I purchased a chai that lacked flavor at this restaurant. It was advertised as extra spicy, but it turned out to be just regular tea in a different package. The chai I got to go also upset my stomach because they included raw ginger without boiling it first.
This was my second visit to London and I made sure to track down this stall because my daughter raved about the tea she purchased here 4 years ago. The owner provided excellent service and advice. I look forward to returning again soon.
Had a wonderful Chai Tea there with honey, milk, fresh grated ginger and pepper! Fun to listen to the owner explain the proper way to make tea. One of the many fun stalls in the Borough Market!

We had a lovely barista, Huan, who patiently answered all of our questions and served us sampler teas. He understood our taste of tea and gave us very good recommendations, which we bought all.
Great tea, and very friendly staff. They were very happy to help, and we tasted around 12 different types of tea, upon deciding what to buy. Lovely and decorative treeboxes to take home :
Wonderful teas just a huge choice of different brands and flavours as well as buying whatever tea you want you can also sample whichever tea you prefer. Highly recommended.
This is a wonderful place to pick up some beautiful teas for gifts or to remember your trip. They have a fantastic variety of teas and the staff is very knowledgeable.
