I ate here with my husband, his uncle and aunt. We went over for supper late in the evening. Our meals were chicken parm, a roast beef sandwich (if we remember correctly), and liver & onions all were VERY well received. Two of the meals came with a soup/salad appetizer. We requested the soup and it was delicious. Some rolls were provided as well. None of us finished our supper because there was just sooo much food! We weren't the only ones asking for a doggy bag to bring the remaining food home. Styrofoam containers were being handed out left and right. Four of us had heard about this restaurant and decided to give it a try while in the area. We arrived just before lunch time which was a smart move on our part as it wasn't long filling up. Our waitress was excellent and the quantity of food was more then required at this time of the day as we had about 1 and 1/2 hour drive to get home. I had ordered gravy on my mashed potatoes and they arrived without gravy. Before I had a chance to ask our waitress, she had noticed my shortage and returned with a separate container of gravy. Great service and plenty to eat.
This was our 1st time here but not our last as the food is fantastic both my wife and I had the smoked meat sandwiches and we split and order of fries and did not have room for dessert because of the amount of food on our plates!We did order dessert but to take home as both the desserts looked to good not to try a few hours later. Yes they only have 2 types of pie but they too are very big and stuffed us for the second time that night,like a large piece of heaven:)Be aware they do not serve alcohol here but the coffee is very good.
Food is always awsome. Service is okay. The server we ended up with seems upset or grumpy. I guess she heard that we were questioning how grumpy she was because she came back after a few minutes with a total new attitude. I'll always go back here for the food but man oh man the front of house staff need an attitude adjustment. Myself working in a commercial kitchen I would never accept attitude like that from staff. We have not reviewed Teddy's for a few years and thought we need to do it again.Surprised to see the brothers Teddy and Chris are still cooking and expediting!Food is FANTASTIC and the service quick and friendly.Huge portions, clean seating and tables and fast service what more can you ask for!
Teddy's has been in Oshawa for years and is a family favourite. They had really good wholesome homemade food at a ridiculously good price. The staff are always friendly and very efficient. If you get a chance stop by for a piece of their Strawberry Pie!

Meals mainly under $20 for supper and hefty portions. Roast beef dinner with mushroom sauce had great flavour. Can never go wrong with the turkey dinner. Amazing pies for desert. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Everyone I know raves about this place. I myself find it a lovely place but everytime I happen to end up there my food is bland or cold or both. Sorry but truth.
