Went in for dinner tonight, was seated promptly (arrived at 5:30). The service was very fast and attentive. Three things were ordered: <br/ • nasi lemak <br/ • chicken laksa <br/ • roti canai <br/ <br/ The dishes were great, the laksa being the absolute best we’ve had in a long time. You can actively taste a slow cooked broth with galangal and lemongrass. It had the right amount of spice. The roti canai was fresh and sweet. The nasi lemak was great, however there needed to be some more sambal. This was slightly lacking. Unlike your usual laksa, the soup here is so thick with aromatics it was almost the consistency of a sauce, which meant that each mouthful of noodle is absolutely saturated with flavour. Every slurp was fragrant, creamy goodness, with just enough spice thrown in to keep things exciting. In fact, the only thing to complain about would be the stinginess of the toppings, which consist of nothing more than a few slices of fish cake, and a couple of tofu puffs. I’d expect a bit more for the price, but all-up it’s delicious enough for me not to mind at all.
Dont be fooled by the way this restaurant looks. The food served is very tasty.<br/ <br/ The staff are friendly and helpful. We ordered 2 dishes that we didn't know were similar in flavours and one of the waiters came and inform us and asked if we wanted to change one of the dish.<br/ <br/ Prices are moderate approx $20 per main. Might not sound like much but for singaporean/malay food it's consider pricey.
Delicious full of flavours!! The roti was very crispy and oily. Dipped into beef rendang felt very authentic. The hainanese chicken was so silky and soft, and the eggplant made with shrimp paste was the highlight!! Satay chicken skewers were tasty too, and we ordered a squid dish which was just bursting with flavours when you ate it. The ice lemon tea is also a must try

Quick service and food is awesome here. Always packed when I go so make sure to book a table if you plan to go with a large group. The food feels very authentic here and is reasonably priced. Decent spot for lunch in the area. Ordered the Hainan chicken rice and chicken laksa from their lunch specials. Chicken was smooth and had good texture. I chose mixed noodles for my laksa and it was delicious. Still a good as I remembered it from years ago.
There is reason this place has delivered wonderful food at a good price since 92. They are good at it. One of the best meals you will have. Cancel the trip to Singapore, just book a hotel in Parramatta and your their.
The food have huge portions. Very delicious. The place is small becuase many people go here. Also the service is sometimes not available. But whenever it is, they are accommodating.<br/

Great place for delicious authentic Malaysian cuisine. Very quick service. Flavours were so delicious! Can see why it's such a popular place for Malaysian food -tasty and cheap too.
Best Hainanese chicken rice you will eat in Sydney!!! Chicken is succulent and the rice is flavoursome. Temasek is also very generous with their portions.
