Been here since it's open and they've upgraded the menu to being an organic cafe. The water use to have lemon and mint leaves in the jar and the flowers use to be pretty dainty and fresh. The staff use to SMILE and be welcoming however maybe because I went on a weekday this time, the staff were all moody. Food is garnish differently however that's ok, they still look good. Thanks to the chef the meals are still tasty and hasn't lost it's touch. The only downside was the staff. We walked in and one of the female blond shorter staff completely ignored us and didn't even serve us! We had to wave down another female staff who finally got us menus and water for the table.
Visited on Queens b'day Monday. Place was busy so we had to wait for a table which was fair enough but watched as 2 groups that came after us were seated before us - just don't seem to be organised - (no reservations here). Service was not up to scratch - had to ask for spoons, then cutlery, then napkins and most of the staff didn't look too happy. Out of the 4 meals we had, 2 were good but the other 2 below average. The bacon on the breakfast burger was burnt beyond recognition. I could go on but won't bother. Sorry but only a 5 out of 10 for me.
Firstly I would like to say the staff were lovely. The food on the other hand was extremely disappointing, my poached eggs were flavourless and undercooked, the bacon and mushrooms were oily and had a burnt oil flavour. Orange juice and coffee were okay. Also cannot believe all the sweet options for breakfast, certainly not what I want for breakfast. I am a local and used to drop in for breakfast and lunch regularly, but sad to say I will not be back again. ☹️
Let me start off by saying that the staff were great. Super friendly and welcoming. Nice cafe with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.As for the food. Service was surprisingly quick. Probably the fastest I've gotten my food from a cafe.Flavours were great. However the poached egg was over cooked. While some of the chips that came with the burger were undercooked.But I am willing to go back to check out their freak shakes.

Today we visited Ten One Ate in Essendon and I must say the food was superb!We ordered the Double Wagyu Beef Cheeseburger and Chips and the Winter Baked Eggs from the specials menu, accompanied with a Matcha Latte and a Taro Latte.Everything was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. Service staff were polite however could have been a bit quicker. We will definitely be back!
The menu was mainly sweet but did have a couple of savoury options. The french toast was lovely and the milkshakes were good as well. Together though, it was too much and I couldn't finish the milkshake. Overall it was good except the prices were way over the top. $15 for a milkshake that had a bit of topping.
Had a lovely lunch to celebrate my daughters 21st birthday. Private cellar room has a great atmosphere, food was lovely and the service was excellent. Would definitely hold another another function there in the future. Best of all there was no extra charge for the use of the private room.
Nice to sit either inside or outside, staff are attentive some days and distracted on others, a bit hit and miss. The food is tasty and well presented. They have the most amazing mega calorie milkshakes if you dare try them. A work of art to look and a meal in themselves to consume.

Great food, generous portions that were equally tasty and beautiful. Was very busy and on a rainy day it got very squishy inside, but there is plenty of outdoor seating for when the weather is nice.
22 for breakfast on a Sunday. No trouble for the staff and the room downstairs was a great space. Meals were varied, served hot and the coffee hot and well made. A great idea for a special event
