Towards the end of my first school year in this city, I've decided to try some more new places and invited a friend with me to come here.The food are amazing! We did hotpot, I did a Miso soup based with glass noodles and beef! The base was so amazing, my friend said she will order this base the next time we go.We had to order extra beef, it tasted great! I can go for round 2 again right now!My drink was a 10/10, I ordered Lychee Strawberry Splashers with Crystal Boba and Litchi Jelly. It. was. good. I never had crystal boba before and wow it did not disappoint!The server we had was really nice, she was patient and respectful and also did not make us wait at all.
I can see why the 31. Chicken Katsu Curry Rice is a popular choice here! The chicken katsu was incredibly tender, juicy, and perfectly fried. The curry was delicious and had a great balance of flavors. I also tried the 2. Green Onion Pancake and a Taro Milk Tea. I would give the Taro Milk Tea a 5/10 because it had a slightly powdery flavor at the end - although taro is my favorite, so I am quite critical about it. The Green Onion Pancake gets a 6/10 for its texture. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal and will definitely be ordering from here again!
This is my second time ordering from this restaurant and I chose the medium spiced Popping Fish Balls (8) and they were absolutely delicious! I paired it with a refreshing Jasmine Green Milk Tea with crystal boba to balance out the spice, and finished off the meal with a sweet treat of Hot Grass Jelly. My dad was hesitant about trying the Braised Pork Rice, but ended up enjoying it as well. Overall, a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience.
Cute place, great service, and their drinks are fantastic (highly recommend their kumquat lemon tea), lastly their food is also good- I would recommend their joy pots and bring your friends to enjoy it with you. The 31. Chicken Katsu Curry Rice and the 13. Spicy Wontons (8) are my go to faves! The 29. Braised Pork Rice is definitely a comfort food. the Thai Milk Tea and the Lemon Strawberry Teazer are delicious!
Their honey green tea is sooo good! But the food at tenren is lacking!! But prices is okay and the service is not bad. I would only come here for the drinks and not their food.
The chicken katsu curry rice was delicious, with even the inclusion of cabbage adding to the overall flavor. The Thai tea with boba was both tasty and sweet.
