The positives are the food wasn't bad. It was cooked pretty well and the portion sizes are generous. The negatives start and finish with the service. We had a booking fortunately as the restaurant was pretty full so we were shown to our table and left there. We had to ask for menus some 10 minutes later and then had to call a waitress over to take our drink orders after that. Once we ordered the drinks it was close to 20 minutes before we received them and in that time we still had no one come to our table to ask if we were ready to take our food order. We arrived without a booking on a Tuesday night and the restaurant was very busy, staff very apologetic as they were so busy and without a booking they only had tables outside. It was a balmy night so this was not a problem, service was prompt, food was presented well, was fresh and generous servings. Was a great place to catch up with an old friend, do yourself a favour and order a frozen margarita or two......
Had dinner here the other night with friends for the first time and I'm so disappointed I didn't visit here earlier. The food was AMAZING & CHEAP. I ordered the pulled pork BURRITO and was the biggest burrito I have ever had. The BBQ RIBS looked amazing as well. Ill try that next time. The taste was original Mexican flavors and beers wee cheap.. THANK U. ILL BE BACK FOR SURE.
Walked in.no one to greet us. Sat down at one of many empty tables. Waitress approached us with attitude. Didn't say hello. She asked if we had a reservation and when we said no she told us we had to vacate the table. Considering there were only 5 tables of patrons we felt this waitress treated us like intruders. So we left shaking our head in disbelief.

Wanted something different Tequila & Tacos is great restaurant if you love Mexican food . Super fresh & quick service & large serves , which was fantastic. We ordered a heap of different dishes & shared them between 5 of us , huge serves . Highly recommend this restaurant for a family or a group of friends for a great night .
Came in 'hangry' left with a goofy, full-bellied smile on my face. Such a great meal last night. The staff were friendly. Meal portions are generous. Only downside was it wasn't spicy but the food was so fresh and yummy I didn't mind. Vegan options too. Will be back, thank you!
We had the combination nachos and the serves were huge, full of flavour and almost impossible to finish. The jug of traditional margaritas complimented the nachos perfectly. Reasonable priced and fantastic service.
Couldn't complain about the happy friendly service. One aspect to give you confidence that a restaurant is popular is when you arrive and most tables are full on a wet and windy Saturday night!!

Very nice restaurant, lovely ambience and an extensive menu. Food was quick and very filling. Great flavours . The restaurants is small so booking is recommended.
This is my absolute favourite restraunt for Mexican food in this area. I have visited about 6 times lately and really enjoyed the tequila flight.
