I recently dined at Tequilas Mexican, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The food was not up to par—everything on my plate was mushy and devoid of the bold flavors you would typically expect from a Mexican restaurant. It was evident that the quality has diminished significantly. Additionally, the cleanliness of the establishment was lacking. The floors were dirty, and the overall ambiance felt neglected. It's disheartening to see how much Tequilas Mexican has declined over the years. This place used to be one I enjoyed, but sadly, it's no longer what it used to be.
I wasn't very hungry but I like Mexican so while visiting a friend he suggested we go here. I was so surprised at how good my taco, burrito, beans, and rice were that I ate everything (including chips and asking for the extra spicy salsa before the main course), then ordered empanadas with ice cream for dessert and split it. I've been to many, many Mexican restaurants. I don't know what they're putting in their rice, beans, and meat seasonings that just knocked it up a level above the typical Mexican food place.
I went with my family to eat yesterday. The service was horrible and so was the food. The queso tasted the way lady bugs smell. The you setting us was rude and the server never did come back to check on us after we got our food. We had to go to the front just to get the bill. Love love love this place, even if the company you're attending with is subpar, the food, music and drink make up the difference
Food is good, reasonably priced and has a great atmosphere! The lunch special was the perfect size a day price!
