Three of us went to the St Amboise for lunch today to show an out of town visitor what Montreal has to offer for casual dining. I used to go to this restaurant several times a year but hadn't been for ages. The terrace has been enlarged and is very pretty now, with lots of tables and some comfortable patio furniture. We waited to be seated but no one paid attention to us, and then a bus boy eventually showed us to a table. After a 10 minute wait menus arrived and then about 20 minutes after that a server took our orders. Our wine arrived promptly. After about 30 minutes a managerial looking guy advised us that the Mahi mahi teriyaki I had ordered was no longer on the menu ..... they had run...
We took the brewery tour and had an amazing experience. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about beer. The beer was delicious and had a wonderful story behind it. The terrace at the restaurant was one of the best in the city, perfect for enjoying a cold beer on a sunny day. Additionally, they also offer food options.
Le repas est bon , hot dog , hamburger bon , les natchos sont bon mais la sauce pourrait être meilleure en tout pour mon goût , j en ai mangé de la meilleure , les prix ne sont pas exagérer , une chose désolante , il n y a pas de Café grrrr , moi qui voulait prendre un bon café chaud sur le bord de l eau
This is a great spot to enjoy some quality beer with friends. The atmosphere sitting on the terrasse is very pleasant. I really love their Apricot and Raspberry flavoured beers. I don't think there's a better place in the Montreal area to have a beer on a Terrace. It's a very cozy place and it really feels like you're at a friends backyard. The beer is good the food is good the prices are good and most of all the ambience is amazing.

This is an excellent spot to relax, enjoy a beer, and grab a bite to eat. It's a perfect reason to take your dog for a long walk and enjoy a cold beer. There is plenty of outdoor seating to soak up the summer weather.

Amazing place tucked away in a residential area in Montreal. The beer is awesome, the music is great and the terrace is lovely a true gem.
