Staying out of area and requiring a good breakfast before tackling the 4.5 hour journey home, I had the good fortune to be directed to Terry's Cafe. I chose the full English but the variety of choice on the menu was impressive, with such delights as eggs benedict and eggs royal (as well as a selection of continental items). A full range of teas, coffees and other forms of liquid refreshment were available, I settled for a Mocha which was brewed to my liking. I was met with a warm greeting and seated straight away. Ive been wanting to come here for ages and finally got the chance today and was not disappointed! Short walk from London Bridge brings you to the lovely Terrys, with a big awning covering outside tables and a cosy main cafe inside. Wide selection of cooked breakfasts and other breakfast items all cooked to order. Everything cooked perfectly and served quickly, together with decent portions! The menu for my particular breakfast order just said 'Bacon ' so I anticipated a single rasher, ended up with three good sized rashers! Definitely come here with an appetite and it will not disappoint. Waiter could have been a touch less surly but no big deal, won 't stop me coming back!
Where do you take guests visiting from Montreal, South Africa and Italy…..to Terry’s Cafe of course and no one was disappointed or dissatisfied. The food choices and combinations suited everyone and I would recommend the Eggs Royale or Florentine which are new to the menu. Our waiter Fernando was kind, professional and patient as we had a fussy eater. Overall a wonderful meal.
It was a chilly day, so I was pleased when we were seated promptly. The restaurant was bustling, but the staff were still welcoming with smiles and greetings. We ordered a variety of dishes, both vegetarian and meat options, and the staff were accommodating and allowed us to take our time enjoying the bottomless teapot. Had a quick coffee on the way to work- ‘Monmouth’ coffee- so l knew it would be delicious- so on the way back to my motorbike l went in for another. The young female staff member was so friendly, warm showed genuine enthusiasm interest in me. We had a lovely chat. What a stunning place! I’ll be back.

This restaurant is amazing! We enjoyed everything about it. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was cozy. We will definitely return! We tried the big breakfast and it was excellent. A true taste of London!

Quintessential full English. Delicious, tasty and resonably priced. My husband and I shared the big brekkie and we were full! The two large teas were also great. Can’t wait to visit again the next time we are in London. Highly recommend!
