I remember when I tried Tew Thai for the first time back in May 2014, and found them to be one of the tastiest guilty pleasure Thai eateries around. Tried them again for lunch today, and probably won 't be back again even if they...paid me (the repercussions from my liver would be too much). Ominous Sign No. 1: The restaurant was empty at 30 minutes past mid day. Enough said. Ominous Signs there after were many, but I should have paid more respect to Ominous Sign No. 1. So my bad. But depending on the day some normally busy restaurants are also quiet. So I gave Tew Thai the benefit of the doubt. My bad, truly. To be fair, the service was friendly, and the venue appear to be relatively clean....
Had a meal on Sunday night. The place only had two tables, yet the service was slow. Had to ask for glasses and ice bucket for the wine. No offer to take the six pack of cider and keep it cold. Meals were served promptly,...as is the case with Thai food. The Golden Boat entree was small, dry and tasted stale. The money bag was full of corn, very little mince. As one of the people at our table mentioned, get ready for a corn explosion. The mains were ok, although the Mussaman beef was chewy and had a bit of fat or grissle. I went to Tew Thai with some friends for the first time with low expectations. I was pleasantly surprised. The service was friendly and prompt, and the food was delicious! The tofu salad was topped generously with fresh lime juice and the yellow chicken curry was very flavorful. I will definitely be coming back!
We often get take away or delivery (which is free if you order over $25) and it is always great value, fresh, fast and tasty- the tender Beef Massaman Curry is a favourite! The back of the cosy restaurant has a lovely view of skyline...looking west towards the Parramatta River.

Unfortunately, my meal was cold and dry when it arrived. Despite living just 8 minutes away from the restaurant, it felt like my dinner had been sitting out for 20 minutes before being delivered. This was very disappointing.
I really enjoyed dining here. The food is lovely, very tasty and the service is friendly. The yellow chicken curry is awesome. I will be back here again and again. Also value for money.
the purses were full of mais and the baked was thick and teig. the Chili-Rind Basilikum-Wurzel was ok. I probably don't order to get away with the Thai restaurant again.
Staff are always warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Food is good although can take a little time to come out.
