We ordered a delivery and it arrived within 1/2 hour but that's where the satisfaction ended. We ordered fish cakes for the entree and they were over cooked and unappetising. For the mains we had duck red curry and chicken panang curry. We love Thai food and have had these dishes many times from many different restaurants. I can say without hesitation that these were the absolute worst examples of Thai we have ever had... we had leftovers but we threw them out. The duck was insipid and rubbery and the panang was a watery, tasteless, sloppy mess. This is the first time I can remember rating a restaurant 1 star... but it is well deserved. You can do much better anywhere else.
In this case LOL stands for lots of liquid. For six diners we ordered four mains, plus two Pad Thai and steamed rice. The mains tasted nice but, in their takeaway containers were mostly sauce. There were several small slivers of duck in one, the Mussamun had a few pieces of beef and a good portion of potato and a chicken with basil was not very chickeny. The pumpkin curry with chicken was very good. Both Pad Thais were quite ordinary with very little prawn or chicken and no distinctive taste. With some improvement in content, the curries would have been good. Could have been better.
Thai Amarin is absolutely brilliant. The food is quite easily the best Thai I have ever eaten and there is such a variety of choices - I've been here countless times and I'm still amazed at the amount of vegetarian options. Dining In (BYO with a bottle-o a few stores down) is always a treat, the staff are friendly and the restaurant has such a nice vibe. They also do take away, which is great when you're craving a massaman but don't want to get out of your trackies!
Invited by friends to dine at the Thai Amarin. We hadn't been before, but judging from other restaurants in the area that we had been to, expected it to be very ordinary. We were pleasantly surprised. Nice atmosphere, very clean, the staff were attentive and the food great. Lived in Thailand and visit regularly. We eat Street food there as well as dine in fine restaurants, and the food in this restaurant is every bit as good. Highly recommended.

My partner and I had a last minute change of plans and decided we grab some take away. Thai Amarin had a wonderful selection available for takeaway. We had the fish cakes, red duck curry and the chicken chilli basil stir fry...all great choices, although my favourite was easily the duck curry, it was sweet but flavoursome and not heavy at all. Very pleased that this restaurant on my way home from work! Highly recommended!
We are regular customers of this restaurant and have always found the quality of the food as very good, tonight was no exception with the only disappointment being they are not making their coconut custard anymore. We would recommend this restaurant based on quality of food and friendly service.
This is our family's first choice of meal - both take-away and dine in. The food is always good, staff are very nice and they have a good range to choose from. In some ways it is very 'standard' so far as Thai food, but we never have any complaints.
This is our preferred local Thai - good for your Thai dinner. Seems popular with locals as there are always people sitting down to dinner. We always do take out. Like other local diners, the decore is functional but effective.

We dined here with friends and opted to order our own dishes to share. Most were tasty and plentiful. Rice hot and well cooked. Will go back.
Food was lovely as was the service, friendly and efficient. Have had take-away a number of times it's always popular with the family.
