We first found Thai Ficus when we had a Thai student staying with us. She rated the restaurant very highly and thought that it was the most authentic Thai food she had encountered in 2 years in SE Queensland. Now, a few years later, we still go back to it for small celebrations, this time for my birthday and also celebrating a new job for a friend. We weren't disappointed .Oh yum! Not too hot and spicey for the feint hearted and just right for the more adventurous pallets.Service with a smile as usual, we can't praise it highly enough and we will be back again and again:)
We visit this restaurant regularly and the food is always fresh and the service efficient. The restaurant is BYO alcohol, which ensures that you do not pay much for dinner. Eva is the head waitress, and she is always friendly and makes sure you have a relaxing dining experience.Our favourite is the coconut rice, and I cannot go past the Massaman Curry for flavour. The food is ample and the flavours are great. A good all round dining experience. We will definitely be back.
Our family dined at Thai Focus recently and had six dishes. Every one was a feast in itself - so tasty. My son had recently been on a visit to Thailand and was very impressed with this food. I have been to Thai Focus previously and always found the food and staff faultless - and this is first time since new ownership and the food and friendly service is even better! Partner took me out for mother`s day lunch. We hadn`t been to Thai Focus before, but definitely going back. Food was fresh and tasty, service we couldn`t fault. My family came here and had great, authentic Thai. Run by a mother and son, with mum doing the cooking, the ingredients are fresh, the chili's are home grown and the dishes we had (fish, curry, noodles) were all very tasty. Have a chat with the chef if you get the chance!
Told they make all their own spices and I was really looking forward to some lovely Thai food. The fried rice was tasteless, green curry was sweet when I had explained I did not like the sweetness in Massaman curries, very expensive for what I ordered takeaway
For the price and the service you can't beat this place. We go here all the time for take out and sit in. The staff are very friendly and always call me by my name! It is a wonderful place and has amazing food (the best Thai in Australia we think):)

The food at this restaurant is top-notch, with generous portions and excellent service. Our favorite dish is the Thai-style stir-fried pineapple rice.
