This meal was awful. Noting Thai about it. If you enjoy authentic Thai food, don't even try. We had a take away. It took 45 minutes to prepare - no idea why, what we received looked microwaved. Had two stir fries each supposedly with a different sauce - in reality the sauce was identical, with soggy carrots and beans; chicken and squid just added into the different plastic boxes. Pad Thai was tasteless and oily. The prices in this place are insane for what you get. We felt disappointed and overcharged. Threw everything out and made fried eggs instead. Terrible.
We ate here last night as we stayed at Rydges. I was craving pad thai so I ordered shrimp pad thai...The lady explained that noodle was not thick...I can't quite understand her but I just assumed that noodles was slightly thinner than usual. When my ordered arrived the noodles was actually thin rice noodles like noodles in singapore noodles. But it didn't end there...there was no sweet ( palm sugar), sour (tamarind) and salty (fish sauce) at all. No peanuts...just an overcooked noodles with strange flavor. Dont ever pad thai in this so called Thai restaurant.
We went for dinner not knowing anything about this restaurant, but was pleasantly surprised with the friendly welcome and service we received. Plenty to choose from in the menu and the soup and main course and dessert was very tasty and plenty of it.We enjoyed the food that we went back 2 nights later for dinner again. BYO drinks as no alcohol is sold here.

Location is a bit way out to northern side of Hobart CBD, but if you stayed at Rydges this is only a couple minutes walk.Good Thai food, the green curry was nice. Try the fried rice too. There's vegetarian option if you prefer so.No alcohol sale on premises but BYO is ok.

Get takeaway here a lot. Best Thai spring rolls and the stir fried prawns in sweet chilli is delicious. Always friendly service, and the prices are cheaper than most places but not at the expense of the food.
Suchen Sie nach einem thailändischen Restaurant und fand diesen Ort. Konnte mit dem Essen nicht glücklicher sein. Erinnert mich an viel, was meine Mutter benutzt, um zurück zu kommen, als ich ein Kind war.

Only once tried but wouldn't go back. Service was friendly and menu looked good, but food was underwhelming and not really authentic Thai flavours.
This is the best thai food I have ever had It is so reasonably priced, tastes delicious and the staff are so friendly.
