This restaurant is a wonderful find, featuring professional staff and high-quality food. I can confidently say it's the best spot for Thai cuisine. The flavors were spot on (with customizable spice levels to suit your preference), and the portion sizes were impressive, especially considering the affordable prices. We all chose Pad Thai in various styles—chicken, shrimp, and tofu. They happily made the tofu Pad Thai vegan upon request, and the menu has plenty of dishes clearly labeled as vegan. Very nice location across street from the lake. Tables by the windows make for interesting people watching. We were 3 and started with an ice tea and 2 Singha beers. We ordered apps: coconut shrimps (5/5), chicken satays (5/5), Money bags (3/5 a bit greasy), green papaya salad (2/5). Mains were Thai noodles with chicken (5/5) prawn yellow curry (4/5) with coconut rice (5/5). Portions were very adequate leftovers were brought home. Spice sensitive people can request less heat (or for those who love the heat, different spices/sauces can be brought to you on the side to add as you dare). We all enjoyed dinner would not hesitate to revisit when next in Kelowna.
As a resident of Vancouver, I'm used to having a wide variety of Thai restaurants to choose from, but this place truly impressed me. My order was delivered right on time, but what stood out even more was the generous portion sizes and the quality of the dishes. The pineapple fried rice was simply incredible, and the roasted cashew and panang curry were equally outstanding. The portion sizes were easily 2.5 times larger than what you'd find in Vancouver. Overall, this is definitely a fantastic restaurant!
The restaurant offers an amazing view, but parking can be a bit challenging. The owner is genuinely Thai, and the chef is also authentically Thai, which adds to the experience. The value for the food is excellent, with generous portion sizes for each dish. Each dish is flavorful and satisfying. Unfortunately, the white rice could have benefited from some coconut milk. We eagerly anticipate our trips to Kelowna and dining at the Thai Terrace. Without a doubt, it serves the best Thai food we have ever experienced, anywhere. The staff is outstanding, and we thoroughly enjoy bringing our guests; we’ve never been let down. The presentation of every dish is impressive, and we haven’t encountered a single dish that wasn’t of the utmost quality. Thank you, Thai Terrace—simply incredible!
This was incredible! We ordered takeout, and the money bags are an absolute must-try; they are fantastic! The Pad Thai is also among the best I've had. The mango coconut sticky rice was delicious as well. The green curry was average compared to other Thai curries, but still tasty. Everything was packaged perfectly and stayed fresh. I loved it!
Very much enjoyed their happy hour. Wings, prawns, spring rolls were excellent. Hosts and servers were very pleasant and attentive. Close to the water front. Reservations are recommended, but I was able to be seated at the bar without a reservation.
