This is a cute little place with a lot of charm in a strip mall off Osuna in the NE Heights. We both got the “chicken” larb to go. It was my first experience with larb, and I had looked online at how the dish is usually prepared. Traditionally, and as other Thai restaurants in Albuquerque, larb is usually a ground meat mixture. Thai Vegan’s larb had cuts of soy “meat”, then large chunks of slightly steamed or raw veggies with a bit of lettuce. The description is “S12 Larb Chicken Salad. $14.95. Selected soy meat tossed in lime juice, chili, red onion, carrot, cilantro, and parched rice on a bed of salad.” I enjoyed the flavors of the lime juice and chili with the fresh vegetables. Wow, this place is absolutely amazing—definitely the best in Albuquerque! There’s a huge variety of options to choose from, and the service is fantastic. The food is truly outstanding; it's worth every penny. They might be a bit pricey, but once you taste their dishes, you'll see why! I genuinely believe they are the best in Albuquerque. As for vegetarian options, they have everything you could want and need.
The food was served remarkably fast, and the service was excellent. The dinner was truly delicious. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5. I highly recommend the Orange Chicken. As for parking, there’s plenty of space available, including a free lot.
Amazing experience! I wish I'd known about this place sooner but I'm glad I do now... I had the red curry with tofu and it was flavorful, rich, and the veggies had a nice crunch.
