Very pleasant, modern surroundings but still quaint within the golf club. We were seated near the floor to ceiling windows which open completely in the summer, with a lovely outlook onto the golf course. There is no set menu for lunch but a good choice and the food was very good. There is a fair wait though for the food to arrive, however it means it is freshly prepared. We will go again.
We had a really great time. The dining room was clean and beautifully set out and furnished. The service was first class and our every need was seen to. We have booked a table for 4 for this Sunday. My only request is to ensure that golfers coming in the side entrance should close the door coming in and going out otherwise there is a cold draught to contend with.
Staff were lovely. Atmosphere was ok as there weren’t many people there but that suited us. Restaurant over looks the golf course which is really nice and looked like it had been recently refurbished. Food was good, although there was only burgers and roasts. Again, suited us but not what you might expect. The menu itself was good if available. Would go back.
Lovely location with views over the golf course. Friendly service. We went to test it out using the 241 offer. Food was poor and basic mushroom ravioli swimming in tasteless cream. And steak and Guiness pie served with the pastry on the bottom strange! Took ages to get the food and was not busy so not sure what this about. Would not want to pay full price. The food was delicious, but the vegetables were served cold. The service was polite and attentive. The ambiance and decor were lovely, although the restaurant was a bit chilly since the door was left open. We visited to celebrate my dad’s birthday, and I would definitely recommend it and would go back again.
Service not as sharp or correct as it could have been. No children menu or offer of smaller options. Over Officious concern for the disable and baby changing key. Love what they have done with the place but somewhere between the golf club it once was is and the restaurant offering it trying to be.
The atmosphere is enjoyable, the staff are attentive, and the food is not only well-presented but also delicious. It's an excellent value, especially with the 2 for 1 offers.
An absolute gem. Must be tried. The food is really good. Freshly perpetrated and local high quality ingredients. Would definitely recommend Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Very enjoyable visit to a lovely venue. Service was very good and Sunday roast excellent. Will be back.
