we had dinner at this restaurant recently and the food was very good. the calamari and greek salad were excellent. the evening we were there it was very warm outside and the restaurant was also quite warm. the service was good except that our server put our bills together rather than asking us if we would like to pay separately, which was a bit odd considering we were 4 women out for dinner. generally a good experience tho - mostly because the food is delicious :)
The Best Food! The Best Service! Pleasant Environment! We were celebrating my husbands birthday and I found this top rated restaurant on Trip Advisor in Nanaimo! We love Greek food and I had moussaka and my husband had roast lamb. We were very pleased with the excellent experience in Asteras! It's everything we would look for in an evening to enjoy! Highly recommend!
Owner Peter is always on hand to greet you and make you feel special. The place is always packed, rain or shine, which speaks for itself. The food is authentic, and consistently tasty and nicely presented. You may even be rewarded with a delicious house dessert to share, on the house!.
We stopped by mid-afternoon for snacks and it was pretty busy for 1 waitress. She was excellent at managing several tables - friendly and efficient. The appetizers were excellent. Keep in mind for those with mobility issues there are stairs up to the restaurant. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This hidden gem is in the heart of town. The food is amazing. The service is wonderful and the food is so worth the trip to town. Omg the mouthwatering I am experiencing just thinking about this place. So worth the visit.
The all 6 dishes we had were wonderful. Service was unbelievable, quantity was good for 2 people. The roast lamb I had was absolutely the best.
