Clean and tidy hotel room, the staff were also very nice and welcoming. The only down side is the walls are quite thin and could hear a lot of what was going on outside or in the rooms beside. The shower was awful, definitely need...to do something about that. Such a bad design. Overall you get what you pay for, so it’s not so bad if you think of that. Definitely room for improvements.
What an amazing little hotel! Family run hotel with an amazing owner Alan! Brent was also so lovely! Nothing was ever too much for them. The best host we have ever came across. Rooms were lovely and newly renovated, they were absolutely spotless. Lovely evenings in the bar having a drink with other guests and locals. Just a great experience. We will definitely be returning!
My husband and I stayed at the Auld mill thinking there was a restaurant as advertised. We had a hour drive to get there from our home only to find there was no restaurant we were very disappointed because we then had to find...somewhere to eat. The room was small but clean nice comfy bed breakfast was ok.
I am curious if they deliver to Cumbria. I miss their tea and delicious breakfast. Wishing everyone a safe and healthy time at home, but I couldn't stop thinking about why I stayed at the old mill house hotel alone all night. Can't wait to visit again soon. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Had a fantastic weekend at the Auld Mill. Beautiful accommodation, excellent and friendly host, great bar prices. The breakfast was delicious. Will definitely be going again. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you Allan and Brent

Stayed for night. Hosts were delightful and very hospitable. Hearty big breakfast and reasonable bar prices. Close walking distance to shops and eateries. Would stay again
