Hi, I don't know whether this post really relates to the restaurant but I had ordered 20 lunches for a special occasion during the AeroExpo event. First of all I never had any communication back from the caterers, secondly the food was overpriced and thirdly nobody ever showed up checking on my group whether everything was ok or if we needed something or to help set the lunch up. All they did was to put sandwiches and samosas into plastic boxes. I felt food was totally overpriced for what it was (could have bought the stuff myself in a supermarket for a quarter of the price! and I was very disappointed. this might not relate to the service in the actual restaurant but the company was hired t...

I have stayed at the Aviator before and really enjoyed it. The hotel has a charming Art Deco theme with authentic furniture and aviation memorabilia. I was initially worried after reading some recent reviews, but my concerns were unfounded. The hotel is still wonderful, clean, and well-maintained. The staff are busy but friendly, helpful, and professional. One major improvement was the evening meal, which was excellent and delicious. It turns out the Aviator has a new chef. I can't wait to come back soon. The Aviator is a hidden gem.

I recently returned again with my family to the Aviator Hotel restaurant (my favourite) to enjoy lunch in the styled art deco restaurant. Upon arrival, we enjoyed drinks in the comfortable bar lounge area before walking through to the restaurant. Following lunch we walked across to the excellent on site Museum packed full of interesting historical flight related objects to enjoy. We live locally in Northamptonshire and therefore do not require an excuse to arrange a visit we are never disappointed. Recommended.

I visited here because of the Art Deco/Nouveau Building. But would be more than happy to stop there, having visited the bar for a coffee/cake and read the menu, which looked most inviting. However, we had a coffee/tea, and some of the cake/rocky road from the chilled cabinet, which was actually a little bit tough for me. But very pleasant service, décor in hotel was jolly GLORIOUS, fab opportunity to watch light aircraft and helicopters taking off/landing. Well worth a visit if in the area. We stayed one night following a Spitfire flight from Ultimate Warbirds next door . It had looked good on the website but the reality is even better. The attention to detail is excellent and you really did feel you 'd been transported back in time. The fact that someone had generously parked not one, but two Spitfires outside just added to the experience. The rooms were lovely, the food was good and reasonably priced. A little gem.

We were disappointed at our visit for Sunday lunch. The roast options were not available, but they did advise in advance. The member of staff looked disinterested and told us she was leaving anyway. The atmosphere was not good, few tables were booked and the food very average. It was the first time i have visited in a few years and it seems to have lost its sparkle, which is a real shame given the location and furnishings.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at this restaurant with a group of twelve people. The catering was excellent, and the location, with its stunning art deco design, was a highlight. We were even lucky enough to see a Spitfire taking off. If this restaurant were closer to where we live, we would definitely visit more frequently.

Lovely place, we only stopped in for a drink after doing the driving next door, and it was our first visit to The Aviator, even though lived nearby all our lives, friendly staff, and a real 1930s ambience, will be visiting again to try their afternoon tea or a meal. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

We stayed in the hotel for two nights as part of my husband’s Spitfire flight experience and ate all our meals there. The tinned fruit at breakfast ran out on day two so I’d say that breakfast was the ‘weak link’
