This restaurant is a solid 4.5 rating in my book - we had a fantastic time. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the steaks were excellent. Both the chef on the rock steak and the prime rib (medium rare for both) were cooked perfectly. The sides were just as carefully prepared as the main dishes. I left feeling very full, to the point where I questioned if ordering dessert was a mistake after just a few bites. However, I couldn't resist and kept eating. The drinks were also top-notch. Overall, it was a delicious meal and a great experience. I highly recommend it for a night out or even just drinks at the bar.
Excellent steakhouse, our third visit. The crab cake app was absolutely delicious and a highlight. Steak au poivre was perfectly cooked medium rare, and the bone marrow was amazing although almost overpoweringly beefy with the steak I opted to spread it on some of their fresh baked rolls instead. We also had the skirt steak with avocado, which was good overall but it was a little salty. Polenta side was creamy and rich and the fried onions on top are addictive. You also cannot go wrong with any of the cocktails, and the service was attentive. Highly recommended!
the dinner in the bancroft was a wonderful experience! our server mike was very attentive and almost like a mini sommelier! great recommendations to wein and ensured that our day was special! the cute little temperature signs on the proteins loved and the Steak-Tertare-Quil-Ei was a nice note. If they had a special dinner, I would definitely recommend this point:
The food and service here were perfect! I had both the sangrias they had available at the time and both were amazing! Highly recommend the mashed potatoes and asparagus as sides! This restaurant is amazing with a fantastic atmosphere! I highly recommend trying the strong punch, which is a special offer of two drinks for the price of one ($16). The food is delicious; my favorite is the steak tartare! The service is always friendly and attentive. I suggest checking out this place!
I recently took a trip to Massachusetts and found an incredible restaurant with amazing food and service. The lobster was delicious, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his steak - he was so into his meal that he hardly spoke to me while eating.
Ordered the Bancroft burger. Although the patty could be a little bigger, overall it is a good burger. Well crafted and presented. Pickles have an interesting taste. French fries were perfect. I would return back.
