My 93 yr old mom and brother went to the Barley Mow last Thursday. They waited in line for a table, which turned out to be a pic-nic style one. As they were been seated the table next to them became available. They asked the...server if they could change and were told, of course. When they sat at the new table another server came over and told them they couldn’t take the table because people were waiting. Just as they were two minutes ago. She wouldn’t let them sit, making a scene. They left the restaurant feeling very embarrassed. Not nice!
we enjoyed a very good dinner with great service. that was good on my Greek salate. my man enjoyed the wings and fries and the zucchini. our nephew said the blown chickenburger was excellent.
No reservations, so we had to wait almost 40 minutes. Don't order fish n chips. The fish is soggy. Everything else we had (including fries) was excellent though!
Went there on Saturday, Jul 7 with my family. Fantastic location. Kids friendly. Good service. Good food. Recommended.
