The pub looks as though it could be very noisy and a bit on the rough side during crowded summer months. BUT, on a sunny October day it was quiet and pleasant and the food was definitely exceptional. Garlic prawns to start were superb, huge with bread to soak up the delicious sauce. A beef stew and two Hunters chickens were also very good, and dessert of raspberry roulade (very unusual for any pub I know) was beautiful and my friend's sticky toffee pudding enough for any gourmand. The waitress was extremely good, efficient and friendly, she is definitely a gem. Much recommended.
My friends booked us a table at random and and we had a lovely time we started off at the bar we’re we got served straight away by a lovely lady with a great attitude we then went to our table and order our food the waitress was very easy to talk to and good at her job the food we all had looked amazing and it tasted amazing I’m such a fussy person when eating out and my food was perfect I had the mixed grill it was huge will definitely be coming back to try their roast dinners next thank you for a wonderful evening and great service
Stylishly refurbished and new management?? Since our disastrous visit 2 years ago the place looks amazing Staff very functional, payment for everything is upfront now . The food is good yet not up to the days of giant ribs and eye watering mixed grills that I would travel 60 miles for but all depends on chefs I suppose . My only gripe was that they were too busy to bring us more condiments, apparently Will visit again as it’s a lovely environment
We had a wonderful evening with our family at this restaurant. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. When my brother-in-law spilled coke on his pants, they quickly brought him a towel and even helped him dry his trousers on the radiator. The food was exceptional and we were served generous portions. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a great meal out.

While we were exploring the island, we stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant. I highly recommend trying their classic Sunday Roast, but be sure to make a reservation in advance to guarantee your roast. If you're in the mood for a burger, they also serve delicious ones. Special thanks to Sam, Millie, and Luke for a great dining experience.
After being recommended, the bay view did not disappoint. Husband had chili chicken stirfry, i had hunters chicken. Cooked fresh to order, great portion sizes, beautiful tasting, friendly staff, looks lovely inside. Would recommended
Excellent food and friendly staff. First time visiting and was so surprised how friendly staff were. The food was well presented and tasted fantastic and very reasonably priced. The deserts were also delicious
This has everything you want for a pub restaurant and entertainment venue. The atmosphere is great, the food is exceptional. The kitchen and bar staff efficient and friendly. You must give this pub a go.

Fab, quirky pub! Food was lovely, staff lovely and very reasonable too. I wanted to buy almost everything in there. Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely be back if we are ever back in Leysdown
I can confidently say that this was by far the best Sunday roast we have ever had. We have tried many pubs and restaurants, but we will definitely be coming back.
