This restaurant is a local favorite of my grandmother's, and we have been dining here for years. The owner and her team are always very welcoming and friendly. Yesterday, we celebrated my grandmother's 90th birthday and had booked a table for 30 people. We pre-ordered our meals from a great selection of appetizers, main courses, and desserts. The food was served hot and promptly. I started with the soup, which I was told was a popular choice among the dishes served, and then I had the roast beef for my main course, followed by summer pudding for dessert. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks on behalf of my family for the wonderful lunch that you and your staff prepared and served for Amy's 90th birthday today. The food was delicious and piping hot, and we were amazed by the speed and efficiency with which it was delivered to our tables. I can't believe how well you managed to serve three courses to a group of 30 people! The quality of the service was outstanding. I would love to know how you cooked the incredible bratbeef; it was absolutely sublime! Thank you once again, and I hope you and your team were able to rest after we left!
Very friendly country pub. We went for Sunday lunch which was cooked fresh and was delicious. Serving staff were very friendly and helpful. I will certainly return next time I'm in the area.
