Me and my dad had dinner tonight at The Bell. Dad said “it was the best night in a pub he’d had for years”. Everything about this place was great the staff are exceptionally friendly, cheerful and helpful; the menu choices range from vegan...steak to fish and chips to lamb rump, literally something for everyone. The food was fresh and hot, on hot plates, with all the trimmings for example homemade tartare sauce with fish and chips. Comfy seats, plenty of parking and everywhere was clean and plenty of covid systems in place. Oops I haven’t mentioned the desserts! Gorgeous, and again, so much choice and all homemade. I wish this place was on our doorstep.
we have booked a table for Sunday dinner after we have heard amazing reviews and wow it did not cancel. the service and the friendliness of the staff was one and the eating was amazing, we booked immediately for Christmas dinner. why not other pub/restaurants amazing like this, definitiw mine. new favorite place. I'm from yorkshire and it's hard to find a really good Sunday dinner after years of living in northampton ishire I definitely find one of the best. can not wait for christmas xx
We have been looking for a good local restaurant, and decided to try the Bell Inn. The staff all seemed very friendly and helpful, and the menu choices were great. The speed of the food was on the slow side BUT, when the food arrived,...it was definitely worth the wait you could tell it was freshly cooked to order. We will definitely be back
have been sitting here a few weeks back, staff very friendly, although one is serving for eating and forget a dish. eating was typical homemade product. nice and fresh, but I thought expensive for what it was. for sirloin as an example. not bad, but certainly not worth a star

Popped in earlier this evening for a non alcoholic lager and it was really nice to see Nella and Radu again after such along time. The pub/restaurant has been totally transformed and it was a pleasure to be there again. Good luck and will definitely...be returning again soon.
Visited this restaurant with family for Sunday dinner. Visited years ago when food was ok. Place has changed a bit, is smaller. Food this time very good. Friendly staff. Plenty of good quality food on plate so a good Sunday lunch. Not a carvery...though. courses just over
The food is great, the service is exceptional. The food is fresh, cooked to order and of the highest quality. The staff are extremely attentive and very professional. Highly recommend this place, if you want to try the romanian menu.
we haven't been there for years, they've been closed for a long time. they may have shrunk it to less than a third of the size, but Sunday dinner, although no more a carvery was as good as ever. well done, we will. back soon!
