This is a nice sports-themed spot with lots of big screen tvs and memorabilia. I recommend going on "wing nights" which are Mondays and Tuesdays, it's a great value and very filling. You can also get the deal on takeout orders. I recommend the big's ultimate wings, which are giant, battered and sauced with a sweet, mild, almost bbq -like sauce. I also recommend the butter buffalo if you like something with a little kick, but not too spicy. Great for large groups, friends, families and anyone wanting to watch a major sporting event in style.
I've visited this place 15-20 times for business lunch. I've never been disappointed with the food, service or the atmosphere. They have the spicy peanut hamburger that is crazy good. At first I thought "that seems a bit odd", but I order it often. Try it..They also have a grilled chicken breast dish that I have with salad, it's really good value. Prices are very good for the product.
This is really a sports bar with lots of noise. Tv all over and very loud. A lot of people go there for the wings. I find the menu hasn't changed. I felt that the staff need to be debriefed on sanitary condition, as a set of cutler army feel on the floor and a waitress picked it up and put it on the table. Last teip for me. Service was good and food hot
Dropped by The Big's once again while on another visit to St. John's. This is one of the best pub/sports bars in the twin city area. I prefer here to George Street. Most awesome wings, ice cold beer, great menu, most awesome staff, great service. It's a MUST VISIT!

I know the bar has been remodeled for some time but I really like this place. The atmosphere is great, screens everywhere and the hostesses are fantastic. Beers always taste better in a nice bar. I always have the wings and they are great.
The Big's has become our go to place for a great meal. Atmosphere, service and food quality are all excellent. It keeps getting better and better each time we visit.
Just felt like a feed of wings and a few brews Spouse and I dropped up and enjoyed a big basket of hot wings and a few pints.Great servers reasonable prices .
Big sports bar, lots of big screens, very noisy good for a guys night out. Screens all round bar and lounge. When busy can hardly hear across the table.
