Been on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed , The Owner is welcoming and friendly and is on hand to make sure everthing is ok the staff are nice and northing is to much trouble. Considering you are just off the M1 you can sit out and enjoy the garden without hearing the drone from the cars the garden has been made Covid proof as much as you can with a roof so you will be able to use the garden for longer. will use this pub next time i'm passing through the area
My experience at this restaurant was exceptional. We held my grandmother's wake there and received assistance from the staff throughout the event. The price per person ranged from £10 to £20, the food was rated a 4, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.
Great traditional English pub to have a beer with a group of friends. There’s a very chilled out atmosphere. They have also offered a great service whilst following all the government guidelines. Staff are brilliant and I couldn’t recommend more. Mack

This is really weird. The bar 's name is The Black Boy ??? LOL. What kind of name is that for a bar? I went to The Black Boy . I had never seen this kind of bar before.
The Boy is always bustling and full of life. It is one of my top choices for a pub in St Albans. I give the service a 5/5 and the atmosphere a 5/5 as well.
