After a long wait, we eventually received our food, which was satisfying for a cold, rainy day. Some of us ordered dessert, and we lingered to chat and have more drinks. However, we were abruptly told to move to the bar as the next booking had arrived. This made us feel rushed and unwelcome, as if it were our fault for the delays earlier in the meal. had her own vegan menu, I ate the cake from her specialties, which was quite delicious. the accompanying vegetables were overcooked and soggy. the starter was so dry and easy. the quality of food was not great overall, the service was slow and the atmosphere was lacking. sad I will not come back, hopefully it will improve because the situation and style is beautiful. the standard is simply low
This is a great pub with ample parking. I often come here as it's conveniently located between my home and my friend's. The staff are really friendly, the food and coffee are excellent! A really good menu with lots of vegan options for our vegan diners, other diners really enjoyed the traditional Sunday roast options. The private dining room was very nice and a great outlook over the gardens. This was a lucky find. We decided to stop for lunch on our way home and had a delicious Sunday Roast.
