Terrible experience. I first visited this restaurant in July and the food and service were amazing. However, on a recent visit for a friend's birthday, everything was terrible. I gave them another chance today with a group of 7, but it was equally as bad. The place was empty so they can't blame it on being busy. The waiter said he would give us some time to decide on our food, but never returned. We had to wave someone down 20 minutes later. The popcorn chicken was dry and they charged extra for a watery katsu sauce without informing us. The chorizo was overpriced at £6.50 for only 6 pieces that were lukewarm and chewy. Our friend's fish sandwich came with peas even though she asked for them...
Went here for our wedding anniversary meal last night. Friendly staff on arrival. Delicious food, reasonably priced drinks too! Like the fact you can pay easily online takes out the awkwardness if you didn’t want to leave a tip (we did) only complaint is that the table we were sat on seemed to have been squeezed in right next to the bar and toilet made it very busy with people walking by. Will definitely be trying more of the other good pubs
Thought we 'd give this a try for my wife 's 60th. After a very warm welcome we where shown to our table. A very varied menu with not much run of the mill pub food my wife chose the thai chicken curry while I had the fish and chips. Both were very generous portions both delicious. The service was excellent the bill including drinks came to a very reasonable £37. Cannot recommend this pub enough will definitely be returning
Fantastic selection of food with an Asian lean. Had the small Yakatori kewers for starter and a large yakitori skewer for main with home-made barbecue sauce and both were fantastic! Service was on point too as we were checked on with being to intrusive by our waitress Ella. We both work is hospo so we notice gaps and there were none at The Blue Stoops!

I recently dined at The Blue Stoops and had the pleasure of being served by Lewis. From start to finish, Lewis provided exceptional service. He was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made excellent recommendations. As for the food, it was outstanding. The flavors were exquisite, and the presentation was top-notch.
My previous visit in July was amazing, but this time was disappointing. The food was lukewarm and the chicken had undercooked batter. The curry sauce was overpriced and not authentic katsu curry sauce. The service was slow on a quiet Sunday night. I was not impressed and probably won't be returning.
Terrible food and cant probe burgers as pulled pork burger came out fridge cold as they forgot to reheat . The bacon on my cajun burger was so raw it oinked and management said they apologised so that was enough We will never go back.
The food, beverages, and service at this restaurant are excellent. Lisa makes the best espresso martini, and the food is very tasty, paired with an outstanding wine selection. I am looking forward to coming back soon.

Went for my birthday and was told they don’t accept cash. No where does it say this online about the pub. Companies need to realise that not all people want to pay via card and lots work with cash.
We saw 5 rats running from the kitchen to the outdoor seating area whilst having a few drinks. We told the bar man and he said he already knows about it
