I had a fantastic time catching up with some old friends over drinks on a lovely Sunday evening. The atmosphere was relatively calm, except for a pub quiz we spontaneously decided to join. It turned out to be a great way to spend the night, thanks to the friendly gentleman hosting the quiz who made it enjoyable for everyone. We had some good laughs and will definitely be coming back. The price per person was around £20–30.
Fantastic night recently for my birthday. You are made to feel welcome as soon as you arrive, the food was amazing and the beer was just as good with a very quick service. There was music on that evening and the whole place had a really good atmosphere. My party was looked after by Cathryn who was superb and was very helpful. Lovely clean pub, food was good, took a while to come through ordering from the table (technology eh). The food was lovely and the staff were friendly. Kid-friendliness: A good child friendly menu. Good food, good service and great staff. Fun environment during quiz nights and when bands are on playing. Safe and respectable patrons as it seems to always have a bit of a family amongst friends type of vibe. Consistently an entertaining visit whether outside during the summer months or indoors where a fireplace keeps it nice and warm. Price per person: £10–20
The Blunsdon is our local favorite, and we absolutely love it. Cath, one of the managers, is always friendly and leads a fantastic team of welcoming staff. The food offers great value for money as well! They have a wonderful garden that’s perfect for sunny days and plenty of evening entertainment. It’s definitely worth a visit. Food: 5 Service: 5
I had a lovely Sunday lunch with my wife and our two boys, who both ordered steak. Everything was fantastic—kudos to the chefs!
