We have been here for drinks a few times but thought we would give the food a try for my birthday so we booked a table, we were not disappointed in any way whatsoever, great friendly and polite service by all the staff. The food was amazing, really tasty and plenty of it and served beautifully. We will definitely be coming here again. And I’d like to add that after reading some of the past reviews I can only believe they were very unfortunate or are very petty people as we could no fault with service, food or facilities. Keep up the good work. Your doing a fab job
had a really nice 36-year-old jubilee meal on the boardwalk on Tuesday afternoon. the food was excellent, the prices were appropriate. the service was fast and the staff was really friendly. the starters were excellent with very generous portions, practically eating in themselves! the most important courses were once again excellent, my wife loved the sausage, maische and gravy and I had the burger who was super (some of the best pub chips I ever had). it is also dog friendly, so we will definitely visit again with our four-legged friend.
I would like to recommend the boardwalk bar really for their amazing eating, friendly atmosphere and first class service. in particular, I would recommend it for people with allergies. I have an egg and milk allergy, the cook was nice that he took the time to sit and go with me through the menu, discussing how he could change the dishes to meet my nutritional requirements. the food came it tasted amazing, was abundant and well presented. Many thanks for being so helpful and for making my food so pleasant, we will come back soon.
what a fantastic place! Spectacular setting great eating beautiful staff that the chef couldn't have done enough for us) was yesterday doing at a friend champagne breakfast and the staff worked all like trojans to make it perfect. recommend this place
