My family and I went to this location requesting a table for a party of 14. We had half of the party there and the hostess said we had to wait until the entire party was present to be seated. They specifically said we would be seated as soon as everyonearrived. It took about 10 to 15 minutes for the rest of the party to arrive. We then told the hostess once everyone arrived.They then informed us the server is on a break and it will be an additional 10 to 15 minutes to get seated at the table. Therestaurant had plenty of tables visibly available for us to get seated. If I could rate this restaurant a zero I would. Verydisappointing considering the great reviews.
This place is so popular. We always have at least a 45 minute wait to get seated. It doesn't matter if you're the first ones to arrive when they open or after coming after the lunch rush. Just be prepared to wait a bit. So come with a big appetite if youlove seafood and don't mind getting your hands dirty to eat it because your hands and fingers will be covered in saucethroughout your meal. Lobster, catfish, shrimp, and oysters galore. They will set you up with a big table covered in butcherpaper and give you bibs and wet naps a plenty. Fun experience for the whole family. They unfortunately only serve beer. Theydon't serve wine or hard liquor.
viet cajun is right! we have visited this location more than 10 times this year, always consistently great service. when they visit, they have to check in with phone number and name at the front. busy on friidays and washing, and party must be with them, at the time of sitting or they are passed on. visit them on weekdays when they can. we get in the regular shrimp, “whole-she-bang” style, which contains spicy, garlic and butter. certain maisballs get in the bag and do not forget about it cajun or lemon peppers! if they love rice, they get a side of rice and it will not disappoint.
I love this place it's definitely worth the wait! My family and I went here to celebrate my moms birthday. Our server was Danny, he was very attentive and friendly. He has a good sense of humor, when taking our order Danny and My family giggled because myfiancé is allergic to shrimp and he had to order chicken tenders! Lol! He insured that we were satisfied with our food. He evenoffered to place our cake and fruit basket inside the fridge while we ate. Overall we were all extremely satisfied with theservice provided. If you want a good experience ask for Danny!

Went this past sunday and it was horrible ! Placed order online and after recieving that my order was ready i had to wait another 15mn in line ??? To get it ?? Than why order before , my food was cold ... I fortunately got a friendly server ! But girl who was outside didnt care at all on the libe for pickup too busy getting people on wait lost to eat inside ! Yes its resonable to wait to be seated but to wait for order to be ready and than wait again to pick up? They should have better organized staff! Will update if i get better sera next time !!!!
We came here in 2017 when we were traveling down here and absolutely loved it. We came back to the area this week and this place was number 1 on our go to list. We were denied entry based on our personal medical choices. Pretty pathetic considering we have had no issues with that anywhere else in OC. We will just spend our money elsewhere where we are not discriminated against. Peace out Boiling Crab.
My absolute favorite restaurant to go out to dinner with my family. We all love the crab, but the lemon pepper wings are amazing. The service is always superb and the food has never disappointed. The wait sometimes get out of hand, but I guessthat is just the price of being in-demand and excellent.
I love the boiling crabs, but the situation takes long to get services. I know that the location is small and the services must be faster .45 min to go inside and 45 min. to receive services nd 15 min. to drink. but the services of the young is great. only the time

I love this place... I always get the fried oysters. Snow crab legs, shrimp, corn whole shebang mild sauce and a side of rice.... ???? Modelo to drink and watch the football games on the many TV screens they have throughout the restaurant.
best ever. the service took more than normal. we waited the hour and the forty minutes to sit. too long, but very worth.
