I am not a fan of this restaurant. The prices are high and the quality of the food does not justify the cost. Additionally, the service is not full as your drinks are not refilled. When I approached the counter, three employees avoided eye contact and quickly passed me by. No one apologized for the wait. Despite trying to get their attention, they ignored me. It is overrated and overpriced. I would suggest going to Crab Pot in Long Beach instead. The atmosphere is more beautiful and the service is superior. I do not recommend this restaurant. It is loud with little noise dampening decor and the music does not help the negative mood of the staff. Visit Crab Pot instead. Thank you.
This boiling crab location was not my favorite. I would likely drive further to visit another location, such as Burbank. When the seafood is cooked properly, boiling crab is delicious! However, my recent visit here was disappointing as all of our seafood was overcooked. The crabs were difficult to peel and eat, while the shrimp were mushy and small. They were also out of many items on their menu. The limes were dry and lacked juice. Despite this, our server was very friendly and attentive to our table. I just wish they would take more care in ensuring the correct cooking times for their food.
The Boiling Crab maintains its standard when it comes to food. Service on the other hand depends on the branch. If you are in the waiting list, make sure you get the first text or they should check first if internet works. so you don't miss your turn and they just take you out the list, but never got any text.
The wait time on Yelp was incorrect. I tried to check the wait time when I arrived at the parking lot, but it did not allow me to check in because there was no listed wait time. When I arrived at the restaurant and checked in, I was informed that there was a 30-minute wait.
Dining in at this restaurant costs around $10 to $20 per person. Recommended dishes include the Cajun Fries and Boiling Crab. There is plenty of parking available in a free parking lot.
This restaurant is absolutely fantastic, with excellent food and top-notch service! I give it a 5-star rating for both the food and service, as well as the atmosphere.
Food was good, went with my family for a birthday. I find it difficult to peal the shrimp, but I guess that is part of their stick! People are friendly and helpful.
The food was good, but our server seemed bothered by how much we ordered. Next time, we won't order as much and we'll request a different server.
