A friend and I went for a meal on the way home from a day out, was late and the restaurant was empty, never a good sign but was getting on so needed something to eat after long day out. The starters were ok, but...the main, well lets just say I'm glad I had a starter, the curry was so full of either fat or grease it just wasn't edible, like trying to eat a block of warm lard, disgusting texture, I just about managed to eat the lamb but the sauce was so bad it put me off eating the rest. I attempted to eat here a while ago. I should have followed my first instinct on walking in and turned around and walked straight out. We went for an evening meal with friends and on walking in the restaurant is dingy, but the clincher for...me was the fish tank. You couldn't see any fish in there as it was green! I never thought I would encounter such low hygiene standards until I visited this restaurant. It was our own fault for not reading reviews beforehand. I can't even begin to describe how awful the experience was. Alarm bells should have gone off when we saw that all the other Indian restaurants on the same street were busy, but this one was completely empty on a Friday night. The waiter/manager, Ali, was polite at first, but then he did something unimaginable - he used his sleeve to clean leftover food off a plate. We have dined at this restaurant before and enjoyed a pleasant meal. It has been one of my favorite places to eat in Kings Lynn. However, I am unsure if they are under new management or have a new chef, but I will not be ordering from here again. My curry was very watery, the rice was cold, and the poppadom was soggy and hard to break apart because it was stale. My partner only ordered chips, but even they were cold. I visited this restaurant with friends on Sunday evening. I have dined here before, but it had been a couple of years since my last visit. There was a big sign outside advertising a 3-course buffet for £11.95 or a 4-course buffet for £14.95. When we arrived, we were the only customers in the restaurant. The server informed us that the sign outside was left by the previous owners and had not been taken down, even though it had been there for 4 weeks.
we visit this place. all staff members move in the taste of india and steered there tem when we say visit the owner. we have seen ali, and they both cheated. hop they do not visit bombrasserie 61 railway road. now their taste of India....There are now better food and service. Do not forget to try 2/4 blackfaires street kings lynn pe301nn. close to Argos.very nice staff and eat. service and restaurant very clean. 5 food rate.
Organised for a small group from work to go one evening. Worried I could not get through on telephone, I walked over early and saw the opening times stated 5pm. My group arrived at 5:15pm on this evening, and not only was the restaurant closed,...but the lights were all off and we could see no sign at all that told us they would be opening. Arranged to go somewhere else instead and decided we wouldn't try here again.
Ordered a meal for three, for home delivery. Not very good. Could not tell the difference between two of the three meals. Meals were not particularly enjoyable, seemed to be reheated from yesterday (could of been a lot longer if I was honest). I have...eaten better supermarket micro meals than the ones delivered. The restaurant and service is always frist class...... evening meal.really superb food .paladin's and pickles are free, always want to come back and dine in,with curry I have special taste that's why I can say nothing about curry,but all the rest dishes it's wonderful
