Awful experience. I went here with a group of friends from uni having a reunion in Leicester. After 2 rounds of drinks (which were not cheap) we were told by a blonde waitress to be quiet despite not being particularly loud just having a good time! This made us feel extremely uncomfortable and we genuinely felt the need to leave as the people around us had hear the conversation! As I settled the bill, a different server apologised for the other waitress’ behaviour and unsurprisingly knew exactly which waitress had spoken to us so rudely. I have visited The Bottle Garden multiple times and enjoy it for the drinks, food, and ambiance. However, the lack of a phone number is a frustrating and problematic issue. The only way to contact them is through email, which can result in delays for booking requests and communication. This became an issue for us when we experienced a childcare problem and traffic delays on a Saturday. Despite wanting to inform them that we would be late, our email went unread and our table was given away to another group upon arrival. With a group of 8 people, this caused significant stress. Went here yesterday, were in Leicester for a birthday weekend and wanted to find a nice place in the afternoon for drinks and nibbles. We had actually eaten elsewhere before we came across this as we just went to the first place we could find, but I wish we had waited until we got here as the food looked lovely. Nice atmosphere and busy but staff very attentive and helpful. We had a few rounds of drinks and could have happily stayed longer but would had to get back to the hotel as we had a dinner reservation. We walked by bottle green bar and thought about getting a table when a male waiter (a bit of a queen, sassy and very rude) said ergh we have no spaces we are a very popular bar! And if you don't have a reservation you won't get in! Both my friend and I were taken back by his aggressive and sassy manner. So were the many people sitting outside with shocked faces. Clearly a training need, it's a bar in Leicester not the Shard in London which is my usual hang out so really the staff need to come down a peg or twelve. Cannot recommend this enough! Fabulous place food was amazing loved the style of the bottomless brunch! There were 8 of us and the staff were excellent Dee was our main waitresses she was very good and always topping our glasses up as soon as they were empty! Can’t wait to come again! We booked a prepaid bottomless brunch at this place but were never served food despite multiple requests. In the end, we left without having eaten and only paid for the prosecco we consumed. The service at this establishment was incredibly unprofessional and inconsiderate.
Popped in for a couple of drinks before meeting other friends. Stunning atmosphere. Server really friendly and welcoming. Cocktails lovely and good quality. Only downside tried to return later to show our friends but all tables fully booked. Would come again!
