However, there were some cons to note. I paid $14 for the worst mussels I have ever had in my life. The "white sauce" was bland, and I found myself crunching on sand with every other bite. The mussels themselves did not look appetizing either. I also paid $26 for what was the worst pasta I have ever had while dining out. I ordered the special which was meant to have a white sauce with hints of tomato, but instead, I received a tomato broth. My dining companion also did not enjoy his pasta. Additionally, the restaurant only accepts American Express, so we had to run to an ATM or use theirs to pay. Overall, we probably will not be returning. It was partly our fault for choosing pasta instead...
The ambience is really beautiful, it is a beautiful place that is large enough to move, but still small enough that it feels comfortable. The food was amazing, everything tasted fresh. The service left much to wish. No one came to our table for over 5 minutes until we turned around to look for someone and didn't get much attention yet. Also this place is strictly American Express or cash only (ATM in the back). No visa, Discover Card, etc. And they don't sell any alcohol. Apart from these few cones, the food and ambience was worth the trip. Come on!
The pizza here is delicious but I would steer clear of the mussels; they had sand and were gritty with no taste (it was like it was missing salt and I'm not someone who adds too much salt to my food). Our waitress was a bit non-existent but I'll just blameit on the lack of waitstaff at many restaurants. Also, it was the first time in a long time that a waiter had not asked us howour food was but again, maybe they were short-staffed. If you're looking for delicious pizza, I'd definitely recommend thisplace.
This review is based exclusively on an experience with the acquisition. I have the Prosciutto di Palma and it was fantastic. I know it was just a sandwich, but I could taste the quality of every single ingredient. I'm sure I'm back for dinner.
The food at this restaurant is excellent - a combination of traditional Italian flavors with a gourmet flair. The portion sizes are generous, but the prices are also on the higher side. It is recommended to make reservations in advance.
The food was awful, consisting only of garlic and tomatoes with no other flavors. The service was also terrible, with incorrect orders and making us pay for their mistakes. Do not eat here, the food tastes horrible.
The outdoor seating is super comfortable and the waiters and waitresses are super nice. Very attentive to requests and quick with their actions. The food is incredible, the pizza is the best. Thank you!
Gross! Ordered balsamic chicken it tasted like oil and not balsamic.. the worst is they give you a side of pasta and tomato sauce ... how does that even...
