The service was quick and efficient. The menu was diverse and very affordably priced. We dining room and restroom were clean. The best thing was the food. Home cooking at its best. We chose the spinach chicken salad with an orange glaze dressing, and a Ruben sandwich with a side of onion rings. The salad was huge and very fresh. The Ruben had a smoky flavor paired with a tangy horseradish sauce served on rye bread. The onion rings were perfectly battered and crunchy and sweet onions. Definitely not frozen onion rings but homemade. Even the sweet tea was perfect. We almost didn't stop but decided to go in and check it out. So glad we did. Can I rate this place 10 stars? It's genuinely the best breakfast I've ever had, and the scenery is stunning, especially in the fall. We enjoy bringing our son and our dogs here; we typically dine outdoors and then take a stroll on the nearby trails. I also appreciate all the seasonal events they host. We first dropped by on a spontaneous visit, and we've been returning ever since. It has turned into a cherished family tradition. The pancakes are enormous and incredibly satisfying, and we absolutely love the thick-cut bacon and the delicious biscuits and gravy!
Indoor and outdoor seating! My husband asks for a burger that is not on the menu and it is fantastic! He has tried every burger on the menu. We are frequent customers of this place. I bounce around and try all kinds of things. The pecan crusted chicken salad is fantastic! And the banana desert with ice cream is, oh so good! You can try anything on the menu, you will never be dissapointed!
The food is excellent, and the service is good as well. However, I have a concern: they occasionally change their hours without updating their website. We've driven there only to find out they're closing early. If they would just keep their hours up to date, I could plan accordingly. Unfortunately, I can’t rely on them to be open, so I recommend being cautious if you decide to visit.

I always look forward to visiting this cafe at least once every weekend when I'm in town (I actually went twice this weekend). The food is fresh, and the daily specials are definitely worth checking out (I often find myself wishing I could be here during the week). The staff is incredibly friendly. Grove is truly fortunate to have this hidden gem in such a prime tourist location.
I drove 30 minutes from the Shangri-La Resort for breakfast, and it was absolutely worth it! I ordered the Har-bet omelette, which was delicious, and the potatoes and rye bread were fantastic as well. I spent almost two hours chatting with a friend, and my coffee cup was never empty. I really love this place!
Food was okay, service was very slow but there were a lot of customers. Learned the history of the place from a fellow customer. That's how long we waited.
We absolutely adore Cafe 59! The food is fantastic, and the service makes you feel completely at home. They treat you like family!
