Like most other reviewers, there's nothing bad I can say about the service...top notch. They were attentive and accommodating.The food was ok. My wife had the crab cake which she felt was entirely too salty. I had the bone in strip which I'm sorry to say was overdone. It seems to be a common problem according to many reviewers. I asked for medium-rare(maybe slightly above) but it was cooked throughout...no pink anywhere, not even next to the bone. It was also barely seasoned(salt).It's too bad. I remember this restaurant having better quality food..or at the very least cooked right. I may try them again at a later time...maybe they'll have a better chef in the kitchen.I give them a 4 star ra...

This location is now my favorite steak house in Boston. After covid, my previous favorites (Del Frisco and Rare) have become coin flips, serving poorly cooked seared steak half of the time. This spot is the only one I know of that still consistently serves perfectly prepared steak (even on weeknights). Attached pic is a medium rare ribeye.

Hands down the best dining experience I've ever had-I'm waitstaff at a very busy seasonal restaurant so my high expectations were met and soared definitely way beyond. Waiter came back with the wrong beer order, After dropping off food did not ask if we needed anything, waited 5 mins before I could get ketchup for fries, Desert was give spoons to eat cake. Booth seats are worn and put a run in my slacks. This is not my expectation for Capital Grille and birthday lunch experience

So odd, but $170 rib for two was shameful. Lifetime customer. I am almost positive they recycled a tomahawk bone and laid down a sliced ribeye in front of it. Nothing carved at table. The small rib eye cuts were still excellent.

First time ordering the sea bass as my entrée- OMG OUTSTANDING. Every bite cooked to perfection. Have been very positively impressed with what feels like upward advancement in the Grille's culinary preparations.

Good overall but some mistakes with the steaks not being prepared to specifications was a surprise, given this is a steakhouse. Staff was super helpful and service was great though.

You can't beat the Capital Grille! It's consistently excellent. They made my daughter's graduation lunch very special, including fun decorations and a special dessert!
