After attending an event in Dunfermline, my family and I were searching for a nice place to have a meal. We found The Carnock Inn on TripAdvisor and were impressed by the menu. We were not disappointed! The menu had a wonderful variety, from traditional dishes to fine dining options. The food was carefully prepared with a blend of flavors and textures that complemented each other perfectly. It was evident that the ingredients were fresh and that the chef had put a lot of passion into crafting the meals. The service was excellent, with friendly and welcoming staff. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.
This is my local but unfortunately I don 't get to it enough. I have coeliacs disease so need to make sure that I can trust where I eat too! They have fish and chips on the menu which they had said could be done gluten free but the fish would just be baked, however the lovely chef did an experiment of a chickpea flour batter and wow! So I did get my 'proper ' fish and chips in the end! What fantastic customer service (I was honestly blown away as very few places would do that for you! . My friends were delighted with their meals and service too! Highly recommended and the waitress and chef were brilliant!
The service at this restaurant was outstanding, and the food was sublime. My partner raved about the steak and ale pie, claiming it was the best he had ever tasted. All the dishes we tried were delicious, and the staff were very friendly. We had to call for directions as we couldn't locate the restaurant, and the staff were extremely helpful. I highly recommend this place.
Have visited here a lot over the years as it is our most local restaurant. After the hour wait for food , the food not being of the standard we have received here before and the attitude of a male staff member we won’t be back in a hurry. Such a shame as this was a great place at one time

Great choice available on the menu, very fair prices. Service was excellent from start to finish and the food was outstanding. Looking forward to returning and trying something else. Anthony (the chef) clearly cares about how the food is presented and how it tastes.
We stopped here as a last minute lunch plan and were delighted w the welcome from the staff both waitress and chef and delicious food (chef's steak pue, chowder and haddock chips were all great). Good prices, too. Recommended!
We have dined at this restaurant before and once again, we were extremely pleased with the quality of the food and the service. The hake and Thai crab cake were both exceptional.
Terrific menu, a ton of gf and df options. The gf and df fish and chips was delicious. Super friendly server and the chef is making delicious food. We will be back! Thank you.
