I visited this restaurant for the second time and had lunch. The food was above average for pub food and better than what you would find in chain pubs. It was reasonably priced and the staff were friendly. I gave it 4 stars because the atmosphere was lacking, making it feel more like a local pub. It was a quiet Saturday afternoon, but there was plenty of seating in the garden. I will definitely be returning. The average price per person is £20–30.
We just had a delicious sirloin steak cooked perfectly with tasty sides. My wife enjoyed her scampi with a crispy coating. The service was friendly and helpful, with a manager recommending a great wine. They also have a nice selection of beers. This was our second visit and we continue to enjoy the atmosphere. Overall, we give it a 5 out of 5 for food, service, and atmosphere.
I recently visited this restaurant for a Sunday roast and was very impressed. The food was delicious and the staff were fantastic. I highly recommend paying them a visit. Really good food. The staff were excellent. Down side, only low alcohol beer was the 00 lager which has 00 taste. There are some really good ones available from other breweries. It won't stop me going back though. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I brought a group of 9 people for Sunday lunch and we were greeted by a friendly gentleman named Ollie who was very attentive in helping us. We all enjoyed our meal thanks to everyone involved.
First visit Matthew and his mum Wendy were so welcoming and friendly , great atmosphere and a lovely garden to sit in and relax , we will return and eat here next time .
