The Centurion, located on Newark Road in Lincoln, is an excellent choice for lunch. It is advisable to make a reservation in advance to avoid disappointment. We attempted to book a table a few weeks ago, but there were no openings for the day we desired. However, securing an early booking this week allowed us to enjoy a satisfying dining experience. The restaurant offers convenient parking, a diverse menu, prompt service, and reasonable prices. The ambiance is welcoming and friendly.
Had lunch with friends and enjoyed a couple of excellent pints of Red Giant. One friend had fish, another had scampi, and the third enjoyed lentil and squash soup - all pronounced their meals as good. I opted for the halloumi, portobello mushroom, and red pepper stack, which was excellent. Overall, it was a decent lunch for all of us.
Unfortunately, we will not be returning for food in the future. The salad on the burger looked old, the customer service was lacking, and we are still waiting for part of our order. While I understand that you get what you pay for and am grateful for the half-price deal, I believe anyone could have made a better meal at home.
the staff was friendly and friendly. the pub is clean and looks good. eating was amazing. we visited as a family from great grandma to grandson. we had a nice time and all enjoyed our meal.
