We enjoyed a delightful afternoon tea today—thank you! The selection included a wonderful variety of sandwiches, sausage rolls, and scotch eggs, all accompanied by some delicious chutneys. This was followed by a generous assortment of cakes, pastries, and scones. Everything was delicious, and we had plenty left over to take home! As always, the service was friendly and welcoming.

This is a very welcoming country pub with delicious food, great beer, and a spacious garden! There's also a playground to keep the kids entertained.
I enjoyed another delicious and generous Sunday roast, topped off with some scrumptious desserts. Thank you very much!
Unfortunately, The Chequers has closed its doors for good. It's uncertain whether it will reopen in the future.
