Saw it on Google and decided to try it, wanted to order a beef burger but unfortunately they have ran out, so I ordered the Chicken burger instead as one of the recommendations from the bar staff, it was surprisingly good. The fries with it were also good. I wish the alcohol was slightly cheaper, but I do understand its a pub, the staff were really nice and friendly as well. Will come back in the future to get the beef burger when it's less busy. Price per person: £10–20
I had the Christmas lunch and I have to say, the starter was decent, but the main course was very disappointing. The turkey was cooked with garlic, and when I asked for more gravy, it took me asking four different people before I finally received it. The vegetables were cold when they arrived. We came to the Chieftan pub today and had lasagne, cod and scampi and chips. All the food was delicious, was presented well and we were served by a really friendly lady. Will definitely be returning, we had a lovely time, thank you. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5
