Good food at a good price. Only been here the once, so I cannot say I've samples enough of the menu to declare anything better than another, however the lamb chump was delicious, and the goat cheese went perfectly with the burger for a taste explosion. Don't be fooled by the outside, which looks like an American Diner. Once inside it's decked out as a pub, but with higher ceilings giving it an open feel. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was friendly, and the service was excellent, especially with my toddler. I highly recommend this restaurant. Each person can expect to spend between £20 and £30. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5. I recommend trying the Macaroni Cheese, Breaded Mushrooms with Garlic Dip, Garlic Bread, Lemon and Meringue Sundae, and the Steak Pie.
I've been on the road for a few years in claremont and can be met or missed a bit. I tend to stay at the “regular” meal times like steakcake, makkaroni etc. tonight I was there with my recently widowed neighbour who went with her man on Friday night and served by a girl who was just beautiful in and out and made our evening.
