Sunday 11/19/23 Dinner at The Clay Hotpot House in San Francisco with my cousin, niece, and nephew. Having a Chinese authentic rice clay pot. It brings back good memories of these types of foods; it is so savory, delicious, and satisfying. The dishes will take some time to make so don’t come super hungry. The service staffs are attentive and worked fast to bring your foods. The restaurant has a traditional decor and may need to remodel. David Young Restaurant Enthusiast
We had a great time trying the claypot dishes at this restaurant. We ordered the yellow eel claypot and the Chinese sausage claypot. The eel was a new experience for us and we would definitely order it again. We deducted one star for the slightly salty flavor and the lack of ambiance. The service was quick, considering the pots are made fresh, it took around 15 minutes to be served after ordering.
This place never fails to disappoint, whether eating there in person or ordering delivery. Large portions, very flavorful chicken, not overly crispy Claypot rice, all for a very affordable price per what you get.
clay pot rice was very tasty and lots of topping/protein. I thought it would be mostly rice but good portion of meat. good amount of crispy rice too so even though it is delivery, it is made in clay pot. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
My mom is 94 and has been craving for her village food. This Claypot restaurant is her favorite. Its also has the Pig feet and ginger in black vinegar sauce 猪脚姜醋 that she made for my postpartum. Yummy.
Still one of the best clay pot rice restaurants I've been to, will highly recommend everyone giving it a try
