I decided to call this breakfast experience a "surprise" because it seems that the items and portions vary depending on the day. Last week, the breakfast included 2 slices of bread, a square sausage, 3 rashers of bacon, beans, 2 pork sausages, eggs, and a tattie scone. However, this time it was just a slice of toast, half a square sausage in a triangle shape, mushrooms, 3 bacon strips, 2 sausages, and eggs. The price has increased from £8.25 to £9.95 under the new caterers, with less food on the plate. You still receive coffee or tea, but refills are not allowed. For the same price of £8.25, you can get a brunch with unlimited amounts of cereal, fresh orange juice, rolls, French toast, coffe...
The meal was excellent and the food stunning. The newly refurbished clubhouse looked great and with about 20 others the atmosphere was good. Great views over the course. Best thing was the range of food available and the worst was the huge portions!! Fantastic value for money. The service was extremely friendly and very helpful. Happy people!! The secret eatery in Kirriemuir which is not well known with the public. The range of drinks available is also great at good prices. Everyone should try it and then become a social member for not much! Well done to the staff.
So we as a group tried the soup ans sandwich option. The soup was bland, watery and tastleless. The sandwich bread seemed a bit stale. The filling was ok but seemed miserly. Possibly profits before service the new agenda with new caterers. The soft drinks were nice but extortionate for a golf club. So if your thinking about eating here personally I'd give it a miss until they serve better reasonably priced food and drink. Well one can dream.
The food at this restaurant is consistently good, although the service can be a bit slow at times. They offer a nice selection of meals throughout the day, and the staff is friendly. The views overlooking the golf course are a nice touch. The prices are reasonable, and I have visited with my family a few times. I definitely plan on returning again in the future.

I have visited this restaurant for several meals, and the food and service have always been excellent. We recently hosted our daughter's engagement party there, and all the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. Thank you to the entire team for their exceptional service.
First time visit, large family event, the staff were fantastic in ensuring we were catered for personally and quickly, and could not get enough of the sausage rolls and carrot cake!!! Amazing spread was put on for us, will definitely be back :
We arranged my Mum's 70th Birthday meal at the clubhouse. The menu was excellent and the chef was very helpful in accommodating a number of food allergies. Staff were helpful and friendly and really made the evening for us. Thank you again.
Fantastic dinner at The Clubhouse! We all had steaks which were cooked to perfection! Save room for a strawberry tart after your meal, well worth it! Service was so prompt and friendly! We shall be back soon!

The restaurant has been recently refurbished, creating a comfortable atmosphere. The food is freshly prepared, well cooked and reasonably priced. Th staff are friendly and efficient.
